Smigla, Stanley J. (28 MAR 1910 – 25 SEP 1971)
Funeral services for Stanley J. Smigla, 61 years old, city of Chicago resident,
who died Saturday, September 25, 1971, were held Wednesday, September 29th from
Malec Funeral Home, to Holy Innocence Church. Interment was made in Maryhill
Cemetery.
Mr. Smigla was born March 28, 1910 at Lublin (Taylor Co.), Wisconsin. He married
Regina Bigalke of Stevens Point, February 5, 1940, who survives him, as do four
children, Sister Elizabeth, S.:., Stanley, Charlene and Lawrence, all of
Chicago. Other survivors are four grandchildren, one brother, John, and two
sisters, (Nellie) Mrs. John Opachan of Lublin, and (Lorraine) Mrs. Al Kostersaki
of Chicago. He was preceded in death by an infant sister and a brother, Edward.
Pallbearers were all nephews, Leonard Opachan, Alan Kostersaki, Jerry, Richie,
and Johnny Smigla, and Don Niewinski.
