Strock, Delores (17 AUG 1929 – 03 OCT 1971)
Funeral services for Mrs. Richard Strock, 42, Kensington, Maryland, a former
resident of Gilman (Taylor Co., Wis.), were held at 10 a.m. Thursday at St.
Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Gilman. Burial was in Meadowbrook Cemetery,
Gilman. The Rev. Alphonse Zoltowski conducted the services.
Mrs. Strock died at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington, D.C. Sunday
morning.
The former Delores Dietzler was born at Gilman August 17, 1929, attended school
there, and graduated from the Gilman High School in 1947, and from College of
St. Theresa, Winona, Minnesota in 1951.
She taught school at Rib Lake, Gilman and Plymouth, and after her marriage
taught at Milwaukee. She was married at Gilman to Lt. Col. Richard Strock on
August 25, 1956. They lived at Tacoma, Washington, Honolulu and Washington, in
addition to Milwaukee.
Surviving are her husband, a daughter, Mary Katherine, at home; three brothers,
Dr. Jerome Dietzler, Thorp; Bruce and Lawrence, Burnsville, Minnesota, and her
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Milfred Dietzler, Gilman.
