Prasnicky, Anthony "Tony" John (7 JAN 1931 - 27 SEP 2018)

Anthony "Tony" John Prasnicky, 87 of Sheldon, passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at his home under the care of his family and Hope Hospice.

Tony is survived by 3 daughters; Ruth Olson (Jim Hoehn) of Medford, Antoinette Miller (Bill, Sr.) of Sheldon and Rachel Malinowski (Dave) of Milladore, 3 sisters; Anna Marie Schueller of Ladysmith, Rose Anna Sokolowski of Bruce and Virginia Andersen of Merrifield, MN, 1 brother; John of Sheldon, 1 sister-in-law; Joan Prasnicky of Sheldon, 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 4 step-great-grandsons, nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM on Friday, October 5, 2018 at the Jump River Community Center.

Anthony "Tony" John Prasnicky, 87, of Sheldon, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 27, 2018 at his home under the care of his family and Hope Hospice.

Tony was born on Jan. 7, 1931 in Rossford, Ohio to John and Annie Prasnicky. On Nov. 5, 1955 he married Ruth Elaine Lungren. Most of their married life they farmed near Jump River. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and more fishing.

Tony is survived by his daughters, Ruth Olson (Jim Hoehn) of Medford, Antoinette Miller (Bill, Sr.) of Sheldon and Rachel Malinowski (Dave) of Milladore; his sisters, Anna Marie Schueller of Ladysmith, Rose Anna Sokolowski of Bruce and Virginia Andersen of Merrifield, Minn.; his brother, John of Sheldon; his sister-in-law, Joan Prasnicky of Sheldon; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandsons and his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Ruth on Aug. 29, 2017. He is also preceded in death by his brothers Joseph and Edward and his sister, Elizabeth.

A celebration of life will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 5 at Jump River Community Center.

Nash-Jackan Funeral Home is assisting with the arrangements.
