Riber, Eleanor V. (Warnke) (1914? - 2 SEP 2018)

Eleanor V. Riber, age 104, passed away peacefully at her home in Fort Pierce, FL on September 2, 2018.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 29, 2018, at Maurina Schilling Funeral Home in Owen. Pastor Asafa will be officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery.

Eleanor was born in Duluth, Minnesota, and lived in Owen, Wisconsin for many years before relocating to Fort Pierce, FL. She graduated from Withee High School in Withee, Wisconsin and went on to work for Teldyne Post Company. Eleanor was a charter member of Friends of the Old School, and a member of 1st Congregational Church in Owen, WI since 1936. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Eleanor is survived by her son Thomas C. Riber, and his wife Laurie; grandson Michael Niemi; and great-grandchildren Ryne and Macy Niemi; and sister Kathryn Cross.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Carl Henry Riber; her daughter Sue Niemi; and sisters Marjorie Czeshinski and Marguerite Prill.
