Dahlke, Evenda B. (9 JAN 1940 – 1 OCT 2018)


Pike Lake - Evenda B. Dahlke, age 78, of Pike Lake, formerly of Chili, WI, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Monday evening, October 1, 2018 at her home in Pike Lake. She was born on January 9, 1940 in Toledo, Ohio, the daughter of Philip and Evenda (Kirkham) Johnson and later, Jay and Margaret Bolton. Her early life and schooling were in Minnesota. On December 17, 1961 she married Robert Olson, who preceded her in death in 1980. On December 31, 1985 she married Robert Dahlke. Evie was the dispatcher and co-owner of Dahlke & Son Trucking and lived with her husband in Chili, WI from 1985 until 2005 when the couple moved to Pike Lake. Evie was a member of the Pike Lake Association. She enjoyed the outdoors and loved all creatures great and small, especially her dogs. Evie most enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by: her husband Robert Dahlke of Pike Lake, WI; (9)children: Greg Olson of Granton, WI, Peggy (David "Roscoe") Barkak of Chili, WI, Jill (Jon) Noble of Hugo, MN, Jay (Lisa) Olson of Chili, WI, Lori (Lars) Ferrer of St. Paul, MN, Billi Sue (Rus) Fischer of Rhinelander, Renee Merkel of Menomonie, Bobbi jo (Pat) Wolf of Granton, WI, and Jerri Lynn Dutter of Bloomer, WI; (32)grandchildren; (25)great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends

She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Robert Olson, her brothers: Bill & Guy Johnson, and sister Margaret Horton.

Services will be held at Zion American Lutheran Church in Granton, (W2840 Hill Rd, Granton, WI 54436). Visitation will be Monday 10/8 at 9:00AM. Services will start at 11:00AM and there will be a fellowship meal following service.
