Walter, Allan James (5 January 1993 – 23 September 2018)

Allan James Walter, 25, of Onalaska and formerly of Neillsville passed away peacefully Sept. 23, 2018, at the Mayo Health System in La Crosse He was the first baby of the year, born Jan. 5, 1993, at the Neillsville Memorial Hospital. His parents were Francis and Judy (Blaskey – formerly of Oakdale) Walter of Neillsville.

Allan enjoyed life the best he could. He always had one of his many caps on his head, including in the hospital. He made many friends over the years and enjoyed the simple things in life, like movies, listening to country music or just watching the boats going down the river. Every year, he enjoyed camping and having lunch with his aunts.

He is survived by his parents, Francis and Judy Walter of Queen City, MO; his younger siblings: Joseph of Queen City, Caroline (fiancé, Thomas Tingley of Kirksville, Mo, Michael and Rose of Queen City; and a nephew, Brayden. He is further survived by his aunts and uncles, Steven Blaskey, Jean Blaskey, Grace Blaskey (Gary White), Eugene (Judy) Walter, Steve (Peg) Walter, Christopher Walter, Joan (Jim) Pietrzak, Barb (Dennis) Sobczak, Becky (Francis) Trybula, many cousins, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leo and Margaret Blaskey and Eugene and Mildred Walter; two aunts, Christine Blaskey and Sue Walter; and a cousin, Daniel Walter.

Funeral services were held at Queen City Christian Church. Burial was held at the Queen City Cemetery. Dooley Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements. Condolences and memorials may be sent to Francis and Judy Walter, 23375 State Hwy J, Queen City, MO 63561.
