Army First Lieutenant David E. Antrim, 24, son of Reverend and Mrs. E.S. Antrim,
105 Eaton Avenue, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), recently received the air medal
while serving with the 17th Air Cavalry in Vietnam.
Lt. Antrim received the award for heroism in action while engaged in aerial
flight in connection with ground operations against a hostile force in Vietnam.
Lt. Antrim is an aviator in Troop C. of the Cavalry's 3rd Squadron near Vinh
Long. He entered the Army in 1969 and was last stationed at Fort Rocker,
Alabama.
