Krultz, Barbara (Wins Spelling Bee - 1975)
Barbara Krultz, a seventh grader at Greenwood Junior High School, spelled
“sorghum” correctly to win the regional Spelling Bee contest held April 22 at
Colby. Barbara is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Selvian Krultz of Rt. 3
Greenwood. Her teacher is Reg Gobin, Spanish and English instructor at Greenwood
Junior High School.
Barbara will enter the state Spelling Bee competition May 3 in Madison.
Tammi Benski of Abbotsford was named alternate. The 18 regional participants
represented nine different schools.
