Jandrt, Louis A. (11 AUG 1900 – 26 NOV 1971)
Louis A. Jandrt, 71, Boyd (Chippewa Co., Wis.), died of injuries received in a
car-train accident at Victory Hospital, Stanley, on Friday, November 26, eleven
a.m.
Mr. Jandrt was born August 11, 1900 at Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He was married to
Anna Seidling, August 7, 1928 at St. Joseph's Church in Boyd. He went to the
Cadott area when 6 years old and grew up there. After their marriage they farmed
in the Town of Delmar until his retirement, and has lived there since.
Funeral services were held on Monday, November 29, 1971, at St. Joseph's
Catholic Church in Boyd, at 11:3 a.m., with Father Eugene Comisky officiating.
Burial was made in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Pallbearers were Joe Bruha, Ben
Anders, Otis Weier, Edgar Phelps and George Burns.
Surviving are his wife, Anna; two sons, Clayton of Boyd and Norman of Cadott;
four daughters, (Delores) Mrs. Chester Strzok, Thorp, (Marilyn) Mrs. Harvey
Strzok, Muskego, (Ida Mae) Mrs. Earl Flom, Fredonia, (Carol) Mrs. Robert Lancor,
Cadott; 17 grandchildren, and one brother, Edward of Boyd.
