Miss Jayne Susan Liazuk, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Liazuk, Gilman, became
the bride of Michael James Kaczmarcik, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Kaczmarcik,
Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), on Saturday, November 27, 1971, at St. Paul's Lutheran
Church, Thorp. Reverend R.W. Olson performed the three p.m. marriage ceremony.
The bride wore a floor length A-line wedding crepe dress styled with stand-up
collar with white buttons coming down the front, long sleeves with lace trim
around the writs. She wore a full shoulder length veil and carried one long
stemmed red rose.
Mrs. Phyllis Graves, friend of the bride, was matron of honor, wearing a long
floor length gold dress, featuring darker gold velvet bodice with light gold
crepe skirt. She wore a velvet bow in her hair, with gold gloves and brown
shoes, and carried one white chrysanthemum.
Bob Andruszkiewicz, friend of the groom acted as best man.
The bridal party ate at the Sky Club following the ceremony, and on Saturday,
December 4th, a wedding reception took place at three o'clock in the afternoon
at the Walter Kaczmarcik residence, with 40 people in attendance. The basement
was decorated with colored streamers for the occasion, and Mrs. Vernon
Lewandowski made the wedding cake,w hich was in the shape of a Bible.
The groom is employed at the Stanley Company in Stanley, and the new couple is
making their home in Lublin.
