Kopacz, Patricia Ann (13 NOV 1971)
Miss Patricia Ann Kopacz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Kopacz, Greenwood
(Clark Co., Wis.), was given in marriage by her father to Robert Kauhiokalani
Corpuz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Corpuz, Hawaii, on Saturday, November 13,
1971, at St. Hedwig's Catholic Church, Thorp. Father John Puerner performed the
1:30 p.m. marriage ceremony. Sister Jean was the organist.
The bride wore an ivory organza gown with built in sweep train, ivory
re-embroidered bodice, with pink velvet ribbon running through the bodice, with
high neckline and bishop sleeves. Her bouffant veil fell in two layers below her
shoulders and she carried one yellow rose, which was pink tipped.
Miss Barbara Kopacz, sister of the bride, was maid of honor, with Miss Kada
Kopacz, sister of the bride, and Miss Linda Ruff, as bridesmaids. They wore
brown velvet skirts with light satin top. Each carried one orange rose.
Peter Flashinski was best man, with Mike Kopacz, brother of the bride, and Wally
Baehr as groomsmen.
A reception and wedding dance were held at Club 73, Thorp. The happy couple will
temporarily make their home in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Guests attending were from Thorp, Greenwood, Conrath, Sheldon, Illinois, La
Crosse, St. Paul, Minnesota, Boyd, Wausau, and Eau Claire.
