Robinson, John A. (17 APR 1909 – 23 DEC 1971)
John A. Robinson, age 62, a Stanley (Chippewa Co., Wis.) resident, passed away
at his home Thursday morning of a lingering illness.
He was a route 2, Stanley resident, born in Clark County April 17, 1909, son of
the late Joseph and Euphemia Robinson. He was employed as a tavern operator and
spent his live in the Stanley at Thorp area.
He is survived by his wife, Martha; four sons, William of New Mexico, Jack,
Richard, and Charles, all at home; five daughters, Joan, Roxi, and Lynda at
home, and Mrs. Caruel (Cleora) Walters of Cadott, and Mrs. Jess McCarter of
Arnold, Missouri; six grandchildren; three brothers, Calvin of Pidgeon Falls,
David of Osseo, and Orin of Augusta; two sisters, Mrs. Dan Dudzler of Owen, and
Mrs. Clifford Beldon of Eau Claire. He was preceded in death by his parents and
two sisters.
Funeral services were held at the Plombon Funeral Home on Monday at 2 p.m., with
interment in the Oakland Cemetery, Stanley.
