Confirmands at Calvary Lutheran Church Sunday will be: Craig Benson, Cheryl Bragg, Sue Bragg, Jay Erickson, Nita Heimstad, Bill John, Doug Kleser, Beverly Knuth, Kay Miller, John Nagy, Rene Ouimette, Tammy Pulju, Jim Schleifer, Christine Smetak, Neil Swenson and Tammy Voigt.

Sixteen young people were honored at a pre-confirmation banquet Thursday evening, April 24, at Calvary Lutheran Church. The youth shared a meal, banquet festivities and a group singing before sharing their knowledge of the Christian faith with their parents and the church council.

The rite of confirmation for the class will be celebrated at Calvary May 4, at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Ronald Nordin, pastor, officiating. The day will mark the completion of three years of intensive confirmation ministry in preparation for mature membership om the Christian church.

The first communion will be received May 11.
