John Crowley returned Monday to his duties as Clerk-Treasurer of the City of Own
(Clark Co., Wis.), following a period of sick leave from October 28, 1971 to
January 17, 1972. Mr. Crowley was hospitalized in Stanley and Marshfield
hospitals two weeks. His wife is assisting her husband at City Hall.
Crowley has informed the Owen City Council and Owen Mayor Ed Lehnen, that he
will not be a candidate for reelection.
Ed Lehnen has filed nomination papers for a full-term as mayor of Owen. Lehnen
was appointed by the Owen City Council in 1971 to succeed Lyle Haase, who
retired.
