Navy Petty Officer Second Class Thomas W. Tollefson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Claude
Tollefson, 215 Third Ave., Stanley (Chippewa Co.), Wisconsin, aboard the
replenishment taker USS Milwaukee, is battler the winter, the sea and the
"enemy" in exercise "Roswy (?) Beach", being conducted off the Maine coast.
The operating, involving some 20 ships and 25,000 men, includes exercise in
anti-submarine warfare, mine warfare, and close air support, as well as a
moderate (?) Maine's Reig (?) State Park.
