Trubac, Joseph M. (24 JUL 1884 – 31 JAN 1972)
Joseph Martin Trubac, 83, a resident f Route 2, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), passed
away at Victory Memorial Hospital, Stanley, January 31, 1972.
He was born in Czechoslovakia July 24, 1894. He came to the U.S. in 1909, to
Chicago, Illinois, and was married to Antonia Kopacek in 1910. In 1915 he came
to the Town of Taft, Taylor County (Wis.), where he lived ever since.
He is survived by one son, Emil, Thorp, one daughter, Mrs. Fred (Libby) Nehring
of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his
wife and one daughter, Elsie.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Holy Family South Catholic
Church, with Father Joseph Marx officiating. Interment was made in St. Mary's
Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Robert and Edward Novak, Ed Depa, Walter Howinziak, Joe Pletka,
and Frank Bruha.
