News: Thorp – Elks Most Valuable Student Scholarship (1972)

Doreen Osowski, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Osowski, and Greg Sokolowski, son of Mr. and Stanley Sokolowski, received the Elks "Most Valuable Student" Scholarship. A boy and girl are chosen by the faculty of Thorp High School for this award.

There are students competing for this award in high schools throughout the nation. From here they go on to district competition, and then on to state and national levels.

The students are chosen for their citizenship, personality, leadership, and scholarship.
