Petersen, Pamela “Pam” Ann (Cairns) (18 MAR 1945 - 11 OCT 2018)

Pamela “Pam” Ann Petersen, 73, passed away peacefully Thursday, Oct. 11, 2018, at her home in Holcombe.

Pamela was born March 18, 1945, in Kenosha. She graduated from Kemper Hall Episcopal Girls School in 1963. She then attended Gateway Technical Institution. Pam worked in retail, as manager of Paper Factory Stores in Gurnee, Ill., and Oshkosh.

Kent G. Peterson and Pamela were married in Chippewa Falls, Oct. 29, 1996. They made their home in Holcombe, where Pam worked part-time at Gordy’s grocery store in Cornell.
She was an avid gardener, member of the Green Team Garden Club of Holcombe, Red Hats Club, and playing BINGO and cards with her lady friends. She enjoyed attending arts and crafts fairs with her friends. Pam and Kent spent their winters in Bradenton, Fla. She loved her family dearly.

She is survived by her husband – Kent; son – Andrew T. Barndollar, Kenosha; grandson – Blake S. Barndollar; brother – William (Sue) Cairns, Kenosha; sisters – Deborah (Ken) Richardt, Winthrop Harbor, Ill., and Margaret Walton, Indian Hills, Colo.

She was preceded in death by her parents – Stuart and Ethel Cairns.

Per Pamela’s wishes, a private celebration of life will be held in Kenosha. Her cremains will be placed at Green Ridge Cemetery in Kenosha.
