Miss Patricia Ann Leahy of Milwaukee, daughter of Mrs. Delia Leahy of Abbotsford and the late Leo Leahy, was given in marriage by her cousin, Emil Pronchinske of Shawano to Dennis Roger Thomas, son of Mrs. Lorraine Thomas of Milwaukee. Marriage vows were exchanged during a nuptial mass at 4 p.m., with the Rev. Emil Hodnik officiating. Mrs. Alois Gabriel of Colby was organist and accompanist for Charles Leahy, nephew of the bride, of Darlington, who sang "Ave Maria" and "The Song of Ruth.:

For her wedding the bride wore a floor length gown of imported embroidered Alencon lace over silk peau de soie featuring a high neckline and long sleeves touched off with satin trimming. Scallops edged the hemline of the slim cage and the chapel length train. Complementing the gown was a bouffant veil of imported silk illusion. The bride carried a white Bible, a gift of the groom, with a red rose and lilies of the valley.

Her attendants carried a sing long stem yellow rose. They were attired alike in aqua gowns detailed with a ruffled neckline and front bodice, and wore matching shoulder length headpieces made of four tiers of veiling.

David Holtzhausen of Abbotsford and David Thomas of Milwaukee seated guests, who came from Norway, Michigan, Milwaukee, Darlington, Schullsburg, Ellsworth, Belmont, Shawano, Algoma, Appleton, Gilman, Cedar Grave, Wausau, Colby, Cleveland, Ohio, and Minneapolis.

The bride is a graduate of Stout State University in Menomonie and is a divisional merchandiser for W.T. Grant Co. Mr. Thomas is a decorator consultant for the same firm.
