Trybula, Carol J. (Marriage – 3 May 1975)

St. Hedwig’s Chapel, Thorp, was the setting Saturday, May 3, for the wedding of Miss Carol J. Trybula, daughter of Mrs. George H. Trybula, Rt. 1 Withee, and David C. Matzke, son of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Matzke, Milwaukee. The Rev. John Purner officiated at the 1:30 p.m. ceremony, which was followed by a reception at St. Hedwig’s Quonset Hall.

Presented in marriage by her brother, Robert Trybula, the bride appeared in an empire style gown of white voile accented by venise lace banding at the deeply-ruffled hemline, scoop neckline and Camelot sleeves. A venise lace bonnet held her cathedral length, tiered veil edged with lace to match the trim on the gown. A colonial bouquet of assorted white blossoms enlaced with apricot ribbon completed her ensemble.

Maid of honor Tina Trybula, Withee, and bridesmaids Joyce Trybula, Marshfield, and Dawn Matzke, Milwaukee, were attired in apricot empire style gowns with spaghetti straps and floor length hooded capes. They carried colonial arrangements of apricot and white flowers.

The groom was attended by John Sierocuk, Milwaukee, as bestman and Stan Kobrylinkski, Milwaukee, and Dan Lemmon, Rubicon, as groomsmen.

The bride is a 1972 graduate of Thorp High School. Her husband graduated from Hamilton High School in 1969. They will live in Greenfield.
