Durst, Carol Ann (Marriage – 3 May 1975)
Miss Carol Ann Durst became the bride of William Joseph Kohlnhofer Saturday, May
3, at 2 p.m. in a private ceremony performed at St. Mary’s Catholic Church by
the Rev. Joseph Henseler. The Greenwood American Legion Hall was the setting
afterwards for a reception and dance.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Durst of Neillsville and Mr. and
Mrs. Clayton Kohlnhofer, Rt. 3 Greenwood. The Dursts presented their daughter in
marriage.
Juliet sleeves and an empire waistline were featured in the long, cotton dress
chosen by the bride. Red roses and white carnations formed her bouquet.
Honor attendant Suzanne Schutz wore a red and white flowered, long sleeved
cotton dress complimented by an arrangement of red and pink roses with white
carnations.
Mike Olson, Greenwood, served as bestman.
The bride was honored April 23 at a prenuptial shower given by Suzanne Schutz,
Evelyn Quicker and Betty Durst.
The new Mrs. Kohlnhofer graduated from Neillsville High School. Her husband, a
Greenwood High School graduate, is employed by a Willard firm. They will live in
Loyal.
