Marine Corporal James A. Mueller of route 1, Colby, was awarded the combat
action ribbon while serving in Vietnam.
He is attached to the First Battalion, First Marine Regiment, First Marine
Division there.
The ribbon is awarded to those men who have been directly endangered by enemy
fire or explosives.
