Kuehni, Joann Mathilda (Naiberg) (16 JUN 1942 - 25 DEC 2002)
Joann M. Kuehni, 60, of Chetek, died Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2002, at Lakeview
Medical Center in Rice Lake.
She was born on June 16, 1942, in Chippewa Falls, to James and Matilda (Seidling)
Naiberg. She married Gordon Kuehni on May 17, 1975, in Chippewa Falls, Wis.
Joann worked about a year at Chetek State Bank and then went to Jerome
Foods/Jennie-0 Turkey Store, where she worked in Sales and Marketing the past 25
years. She had lived in Chetek since 1975. Joann enjoyed camping and gatherings
of family and friends. She enjoyed her three sons, and had a good time with all
of her five grandsons.
She is survived by her husband Gordon of Chetek; three sons, Roger (Lora)
Erickson of Eau Claire, Allen (Sue) Erickson of Deerfield and Randy (Melinda)
Erickson of Chetek; brother Gerald Naiberg of Chippewa Falls; five grandsons,
Alex and Arik of Eau Claire, and Sean and Adam of Deerfield, and Zachary of
Chetek; step-children, Jeffrey Kuehni, Peggy Key, Barbara Lewis, Bonnie Kuehni,
Gregory Kuehni and Allan Kuehni; two nieces, Nancy (Dan) Heller and Donna
Poeschel; grand nieces, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; step-sons James Kuehni; and
sister-in-law, Eleanor Naiberg. Funeral services were held on Saturday, Dec. 28,
at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Chetek, with Father Gerard Willger officiating.
Burial was made at St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery, Chetek.
