The family of Steve Kalson Sr. held a reunion Sunday, August 10, 1969 at the
home of their youngest son, Jim.
The reunion started with a noon potluck lunch and continued through the
afternoon and early evening. An impromptu band made up of families' members
provided the afternoon entertainment.
Travelling the greatest distance were Sgt. First Class and Mrs. John Kalson.
Sgt. Kalson, coming from Vietnam, and his wife, Mickey, from Honolulu, Hawaii.
Also from the Far East were Chief Warrant Officer and Mrs. Garry (Rose) Etten,
Jana and Tammy. They came from a tour of duty in Guam.
Other children and grandchildren present were Mr. and Mrs. Bill Kalson and
family, Mr. and Mrs. Kennard Ellis, Frank Kalson and Judy, Rona, and Kelly, all
of Janesville, Mr. and Mrs. James Daellenbach and son, Mike and Jon, Mrs. George
(Betty) Kadonsky, from Abbotsford, and Mr. and Mrs. Mike Satonica and Amelia
Ann, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Kalson, Pamela, Jim Jr., Creag and Mark, all of Owen.
Forty-two members were present. Two sons were unable to make it for the
occasion.
