Schiferl, Charlotte M. (23 AUG 1969)
St. Bernard's Catholic Church at Abbotsford was the setting Saturday, August 23,

Hodnik officiated at the 2 p.m. nuptial ceremony. The Brothers of St. Pius X,

Miss Schiferl appeared in an organza empire A-line gown. Chantilace fashioned
the neckline, cuffs of the long sleeves, and was featured again in two rows
around the hemline. A yoke of lace styles topped the full organza detachable
train and also bordered it. Her headpiece was an organza star trimmed with
pearls, which held a three-tier bouffant veil. She carried three butterfly
orchids with a trail of ivy and stephanotis.
Miss Carol Hahn, Wausau, served as maid of honor. Annette Schiferl, Abbotsford,
Leah Kulas, Abbotsford, and Charlene Laszuk, Harwood Heights, Illinois, were
bridesmaids. They wore floor length orange chiffon over taffeta empire gowns,
with satin bow accents at the waist and a bow in the back. The gowns featured
three-quarter length sleeves bordered by two rows of quaint pleated ruffles
Their headpieces were of matching loops and flowers, holding short bouffant
veils. They carried crescent style bouquets of orange tinted carnations with
white pompons.
Serving as best man was Jim Melvin of Abbotsford. Daryl Kulas, Abbotsford, Keith
Weller, Wausau, and Dan Deresinski, Chicago, Illinois, were groomsmen.
Ushers were Lester Dassow Jr. and Tom Hauke.
Festivities of the day included a reception at the Abbotsford City Hall, dinner
at St. Bernard's Hall, and a dance at Dorchester Memorial Hall.

National Bank, Wausau. The groom is a student at North Central Technical
Institute, Wausau branch. The couple will make their home at 2509 6th Street,
