Feind, Edward L. (4 MAR 1887 – 26 AUG 1969)
Funeral services for Edward Feind, 82, route 1, Colby, were held Friday, August
29, 1969, at 2 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, Colby.
Mr. Feind died Tuesday, August 26, 1969, at 2 p.m. at St. Joseph's Hospital,
Marshfield, where he had been a patient.
The Rev. David Pankow officiated at the services, and burial was made in the
Colby Memorial Cemetery.
The Lulloff Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Edward Louis Feind was born March 4, 1887 in Clark County, Wisconsin, near
Colby. He received his education in area schools, and his marriage took place at
Zion Lutheran Church on September 27, 1911, to the former Louise Wiedenhoeft,
who survives him.
He was employed by the Colby Cheese Box Factory for 30 years, and after this
period, operated a farm.
He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.
Surviving, besides his wife, are a son, Orland Feind of Marshfield, and two
daughters, Mrs. Virginia Theilig, route 2, Colby, and Mrs. Irma Porter,
Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. There are also seven grandchildren and four
great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and five sisters.
