Malnar, Chaplain Matthew G. (Service Notes - 1975)

Meritorious service at Undorn Royal Thai AFB, Thailand, has earned the U. S. Air Force Commendation Medal for Chaplain (Captain) Matthew G. Malnar, son of Mr. and Mrs. Matt Malnar of Rt. 3 Greenwood.

Chaplain Malnar was presented the medal at Loring AFB, Me., where he now serves as base chaplain.

A 1952 graduate of Greenwood High School, the chaplain received his Bachelor of Arts degree in philosophy in 1961 from St. Francis seminar of Milwaukee, and his Bachelor of Divinity degree in theology in 1966 from St. Procopius seminary in Lisle, Il.
