Schwamb, Benjamin (3 September 1905 – 5 May1975)
A native of the Town of Hendren, Benjamin Schwamb, died Monday, May 5, at the
Clark County Hospital, Owen, at the age of 69. Funeral service were to be held
Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. from the Georgas Funeral Home with the Rev. William Noble
of the United Methodist Church officiating. Burial was to be made in the Town of
Seif Cemetery.
Born September 3, 1905, to Arthur and Anna (Gall) Schwamb, he attended the
Wildwood and Worchel schools in the Town of Seif and later farmed with his
parents in the Town of Seif. For the past nine years, Mr. Schwamb made his home
at the county hospital.
Survivors include one nephew and four nieces.
