Miss Karen Jensen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Jensen of Abbotsford (Clark Co., Wis.), was given a welcome home reception at the airport at Wausau on September 6, 1969, after returning from a summer spent in Italy under the American Field Service program.

Karen left June 23 and spent the summer with a family at Rome.

Meeting her at the airport were members of the Abbotsford High School band, and classmates and friends.

The AFS sponsors exchange visits of American and foreign students in an effort to promote understanding and good will.
