Liberty Homes of Wisconsin, Inc., a mobile home production plant, is scheduled
to begin full scale operation the week of October 6, 1969, according to general
manager, Darle Hoover.
The new plant will manufacture 12 and 14 foot wide mobile home from 43 to 70
feet in length for distribution in the Midwestern states. It covers some 87,000
square feet under roof.
The number of full time employees to be hired is not yet available.
Construction of the new plant was begun in November 1968. The contractor was
Peninsular Construction, Inc. of Wausau.
The plant is located north of County Truck A and east of the Soo Line railway.
