Bentzler, Janet (27 SEP 1969)
Miss Janet Bentzler and Ronald Fruehbrodt of Abbotsford (Clark Co., Wis.),
exchanged marriage promises during a nuptial high mass at St. Anthony's Catholic
Church, Loyal, Saturday, September 27, 1969. The Rev. Norbert King officiated at
the 12 o'clock ceremony, during which children's choir sang.
Parents of the bridal couple are Mr. and Mrs. George Bentzler Sr. of Loyal, and
Mrs. Peggy Fruehbrodt of Marshfield, and the late Louis Fruehbrodt.
The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, chose an entrained gown of
white nylon chiffon with lace trim for her wedding. She wore a short veil
attached to a pearl accented headpiece, and carried a cascade arrangement of red
roses and white carnations.
Miss Judy Gruitzz of City Point, a niece of the bride, and William Fruehbrodt,
Marshfield, a brother of the groom, were the honor attendants.
Miss Patricia Fruehbrodt of Marshfield, the groom's sister, and James Gruitz of
City Point, the bride's nephew, completed the wedding party.
The bride's attendants were attired alike in empire styled formals in aqua, with
short sleeves. They wore small matching veils and carried bouquets of yellow
roses.
Following the ceremony the new Mr. and Mrs. Fruehbrodt received best wishes and
congratulations at a reception held at the Eagle's Hall at Marshfield. About 200
guests attended the 4 o'clock dinner.
The newlyweds are making their home in Abbotsford, where they operate Jan and
Ron's Tiger Inn on Highway 13.
