Bumann, Jean (4 OCT 1969)
Miss Jean Bumann of Milwaukee became the bride of Samuel J. Brushel of Milwaukee
at a 2 p.m. ceremony Saturday, October 4, 1969, at St. Hedwig's Catholic Church
on Milwaukee's east side. The Rev. Joseph Haas officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Bumann of Abbotsford (Clark Co.,
Wis.). The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Brushel, Milwaukee.
The couple was attended by Miss Mary Bumann, sister of the bride, and Paul
Rathman, a friend.
The bride wore a street length white satin brocade dress with wrist length bell
sleeves. It featured a shoulder length four tiered sheer illusion veil with
satin and pearl petal cloches headpiece. She carried a bouquet of yellow roses.
Her attendant wore a lime green crepe dress with silver and pearl headed
cummerbund. She carried a full assortment of pompons and yellow roses.
Wedding day activities included a reception at Seike's in Milwaukee.
The bride is a graduate of the Abbotsford High School and St. Joseph's School of
Nursing at Marshfield. Both she and her husband are employed at Milwaukee, where
they will be making their home at 4404 N. Wilson Drive, Shorewood.
Guests who attended the wedding were from Abbotsford, Stevens Point and
Milwaukee.
