Ven Rooy, Patricia Ann (4 OCT 1969)

Miss Patricia Ann Ven Rooy and Garret Stephen Reyzer exchanged nuptial vows during a 1 p.m. ceremony Saturday , October 4, 1969 at St. Mary's Catholic Church of Colby. The Rev. Andrew Bofenkamp officiated.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Norbert Ven Rooy of route 1, Colby, and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Reyzer, route 1, Curtiss (Clark Co., Wis.).

Attending the bride as maid of honor was Miss Susan Schultz of Stratford. Sandra Ven Rooy, a sister of the bride, was bridesmaid.

Martin Ryona of Withee served as best man. The groomsman was Joseph Reyzer Jr. of Curtiss, a brother of the groom.

Guests were ushered by Jeff Reyzer of Curtiss, a brother of the groom.

The bride wore a white floor length gown with a small crown of pearls. She carried a bouquet of white mums.

Her attendants wore coral satin floor length gowns with beige lace sleeves, They carried an assortment of fall flowers.

Following the wedding were a reception at the Curtiss Hall, a supper at S. Mary's school hall and a dance at the Curtiss Hall.

Mrs. Reyzer is employed as a cost accountant at Munsingwear. Her husband is self-employed. They will make their home at Minneapolis, Minnesota.
