Tiegs, Michael Arthur (15 APR 1953 - 3 NOV 2018)
Michael Arthur Tiegs, 65 of Ladysmith, was called home by his Lord on Saturday,
November 3, 2018 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire.
He is survived by his loving wife Ellen; his daughters: Angela, Alyssa (Tom
Olynick), and Amanda (Rej Hable); his stepson Justin Chavez; his grandchildren:
Preston, Taija, Keergan, Ryker, Scarlett; and Alex Powell who he loved as a son.
He also leaves behind his beloved mother Helen Jipson; brothers: Darel (Kathy),
Dennis (Cheri); and sisters: Lynette Ward (Wes), Patricia Abbiehl and many
aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of Mike's life will take place at the Nash-Jackan Funeral Home in
Ladysmith on Saturday, November 10, 2018 with friends and family welcome from
2:00 PM until 4:00 PM.

Michael Arthur Tiegs, 65, of Ladysmith, was called home by his Lord on Saturday,
Nov. 3, 2018 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire.
Mike was born on April 15, 1953 to Darel and Helen Tiegs, in Milwaukee, their
fourth child. He lived most of his life in Ladysmith. He became an insurance
agent for Sentry Insurance.
Mike is survived by his loving wife Ellen; his daughters, Angela, Alyssa (Tom
Olynick) and Amanda (Rej Hable); his stepson, Justin Chavez; his grandchildren,
Preston, Tiaja, Keergan, Ryker and Scarlet; and Alex Powell, who he loved as a
son. He also leaves behind his beloved mother, Helen Jipson; his brothers, Darel
(Kathy) and Dennis (Cheri); and his sisters, Lynette Ward (Wes) and Patricia
Abbiehl and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
We will always remember Mike riding on his Harley, playing his drums, star
gazing with his telescope and his great love for his family and close friends!
We will miss him forever, especially his infectious laughter, making us all
laugh.
He was preceded in death by his father, Darel; his grandson Blake Olynick; his
brother-in-law, Dean Abbiehl; his grandparents and many other loved ones.
A celebration of Mike's life will take place at the Nash-Jackan Funeral Home in
Ladysmith on Saturday, Nov. 10 with friends and family welcome from 2-4 p.m.
