Miss Yvonne A. Sondgeroth and Mr. Gerald L. Susa were married at 1:30 in the
afternoon at St. Hedwig's Chapel, Thorp. The Rev. Bill Buchman performed the
nuptial mass.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Sondgeroth, R.R. 1, Thorp (Clark
Co., Wis.), and Mr. and Mrs. Giles Susa, R.R. 1, Greenwood (Clark Co.).
The bride was given in marriage by her father, and chose a floor length gown of
voile and Venice Lace, with empire bodice and A-line silhouette. She had an
attached train and carried a bouquet of carnations in half moon, with one large
orchid in the middle, with ivy background.
Miss Candy Horn was soloist, with Joe Possley as organist.
Matron of honor was Mrs. Don Barth, Stanley, and bridesmaids were Miss Linda
Stouff, R.R. 1, Thorp, and Bernardine Mertens, R.R., Thorp.
Lee Susa, R.R. 1, Greenwood, was best man, and groomsmen were Giles Susa Jr.,
Greenwood, and Donald Barth, Stanley.
Performing ushering duties were Brian Sondgeroth of Thorp and Richard Susa,
Greenwood.
A reception, supper, and dance were held at St. Hedwig's Hall.
The bride, a graduate of Thorp High School, is employed as a nurses aid, and her
husband, a graduate of Greenwood High School, is employed at Speich Tractor,
Greenwood.
