Approximately 155 alumni and friends of St. Louis and St. Mary’s Catholic schools attended the first annual alumni dinner and fundraiser on October 16, at El Norteno Mexican Grill in Curtiss.

Guests enjoyed visiting, looking through old scrapbooks and reminiscing about their years attending these two schools.

St. Louis School, Dorchester closed several years ago with their students transferring to St. Mary’s to continue their faith based education.

The main goal of this dinner was to talk about the importance of a Catholic education for your youth, along with raising money for St. Mary’s School.

Fundraiser hearts were sold and will hang in the hallways of St. Mary’s School. These hearts will display family names and messages of encouragement for students and facility.

Plans are being made for the second alumni dinner and fundraiser in October 2019.
