Borman, Robert Kenneth “Bob” (22 APR 1949 - 28 OCT 2018)
Robert “Bob” Kenneth Borman, 69, of Medford, passed away on Sunday, October 28,
2018 in his home under the care of his family and Hope Hospice.
A memorial will be held at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Holway on Thursday,
Nov. 8 at 1 p.m. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the service
on Thursday. Bob’s remains will have been cremated and will be placed at the
Northern Wisconsin Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery near Spooner at a later date.
Bob was born on Aril 22, 1949 in Merrill to Oscar Kenneth Borman and Jean Arlene
Borman. He started his journey with the United States Army on July 13, 1969 and
was a Vietnam Veteran. Bob’s duties in the Army included being a gunner and
driving truck hauling ammunition. He was honorably discharged on March 1, 1971.
Bob married Margaret “Jane” Ennis on July 27, 1973. Over the years, Bob spent
time as a farmer, truck driver and as a laborer at the Jennie-O Turkey Store and
later as a laborer at Ready fixtures. Bob’s hobbies included word-working and
fishing.
Bob is survived by his wife Margaret; son Adam (Andrea) Borman, Medford; two
grandchildren, Hank and Kai; siblings Karen (Jan) Touble, Beloit; Bruce Borman,
Rib Lake; Jim (Ellen) Borman, Medford; and Linda Borman, Wausau; his aunt and
godmother, Betty Meschefske; brothers and sisters-in-law, George (Kathleen)
Ennis; Charles (Gail) Ennis; Kate (Jack) Peck; Carol (Jim) Peck; Mona Ennis; Tom
Ennis; Jerry Ennis; Sue (Rich) Coquillette; Mary (John) Fitzpatrick, Pat (Peggy)
Ennis; John (Cathy) Ennis; and Linda (Larry) Zeman; and many nieces nephews and
cousins.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents; sister-in-law Cindy Borman; and uncle,
Duane Marth.
