Over 900 students are receiving academic honors for the second semester of the
1973-74 school years at the University of Wisconsin, Platteville.
Of that number, 300 UW-P students have earned high honors and 130 completed the
semester with straight "A's". To be eligible for high honors, a student must
have a semester grade point average (gpa) of 3.75 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
Students who earn a gpa between 3.25 and 3.75 earn honors.
Earning honors is David Bloom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Bloom, route 1, Loyal
(Clark Co., Wis.). Earning straight "A's" was Deborah Bloom, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Lester, Bloom, route 1, Loyal.
