Miss Linda Lorraine Lato, 600 South Street, Loyal, and Allen John Kickhefer,
Yale, Michigan, were united in marriage at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, June 22, 1974 at
St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal. The Rev. Norbert King officiated.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Paul Lato, 600 South Street, Loyal (Clark
Co., Wis.), and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Kickhefer Sr., Waukesha, Wisconsin.
Mrs. Allen Schoonover was soloist.
The bride, who was given away by her father, was seen in an ivory dress with
empire waist and long trim, with lace flowers at the bodice and bottom of the
dress, short veil with beaded headdress. She carried a bouquet of yellow roses
and carnations.
Serving as maid of honor was Miss Debbie Laver, Chicago, Illinois, and
bridesmaids were Miss Micky Hall, Madison, and Mrs. Mark Needham, Owen. The
attendants were seen in Long sleeved, V-shaped neck, floor length dresses of
white background with blue and yellow flowered patter. They carried fan bouquets
of blue and yellow roses and carnations.
Miss Dawn Kickhefer, niece of the groom, was flower girl.
Thomas Baxter, Milwaukee, was best man, and groomsmen were Mike Rogers, Jackson,
Michigan, and Mark Needham, Owen.
Ushers were Thomas Lato and Casey Zajack.
A reception, dinner and dance were held at the Village Plaza, Spencer.
The bride is a 1970 graduate of Loyal High School, and a 1974 graduate from the
UW-Platteville, and will be going to graduate school in Michigan.
Her husband is a 1969 graduate of Waukesha High School, and a December 1973
graduate of UW-Platteville, and is employed as a cost engineer.
A wedding trip will be taken to Ontario, Canada, and they will make their home
at Yale, Michigan.
