Harper, Alta (12 MAY 1890 – 21 JUN 1974)

Mrs. Alta Harper, 84, died June 21, 1974 at a hospital in California. The funeral was held June 25th in Menlo Park, with burial in Palo Alto Cemetery beside her husband, who died in August 1971.

The former Alta Flynn was born May 12, 1890 to Mr. and Mrs. James Flynn of Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.). She was married November 23, 1909 in Greenwood (Clark Co.). She, with her husband and son and his family, moved to California in 1935, where they made their home.

She was preceded in death by her twin, sister, Alma Rusch, in 1933.

Survivors include her son, Ray Harper, with whom she made her home; one sisters, Mrs. Theodore (Lula) Buker; one brother, Roy Flynn of Menlo Park; 3 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
