Miller, Corrine E. (8 JUL 1947 – 13 NOV 2018)
Corrine E. Miller, 71, Spencer, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2018, at
Marshfield Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., on
Wednesday, Nov. 21, at Christ Lutheran Church in Marshfield, with Rev. Daryn
Bahn officiating. Family and friends are invited to gather on Wednesday at the
church from 9 a.m. until time of services. A private committal service will be
held at a later date.
Corrine Caliebe was born on July 8, 1947, in Marshfield, the daughter of Earl
and Shirley (nee Syth) Caliebe. After graduating from Greenwood (Clark Co.,
Wis.) High School, she earned her degree as a nursing assistant.
She married Gerald Miller on Jan. 27, 1970, at Our Savior Lutheran Church. Along
with being a
dedicated wife and mother, Corrine was a nursing assistant at the former
Marshfield Living Center and gave her time and talents as a teaching assistant
at Nasonville Elementary School. For those who knew her, Corrine was a caring
person willing to help anyone. Her hobbies included day trips to any place and
anywhere, traveling to destinations like New York and Alaska, or enjoying a
campfire with family
and friends.
Survivors include her loving husband, Gerald “Jerry” Miller of Spencer; her
children: Jennifer (special friend Chris Corbett) Miller of Star, N.C., Eric
(Carol) Miller of Kaukauna, and Jeff Miller of Spencer; her grandchildren:
Zachary, Alex and Isaac; her siblings: Jim (Linda) Caliebe of Eau Claire, Robert
Caliebe of Chicago, Kurt Caliebe of Greenwood, and Ann Lindner of Greenwood; and
other relatives
and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother-in-law, Ralph Lindner.
The family is accepting memorials in Corrine’s name to either The American
Cancer Society and The American Heart Association.
Her arrangements are under the care of Life Tributes Funeral Home-Spencer.
