Commissioned July 28, 1974, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Greenwood (Clark
Co., Wis.),, by Rev. David E. Wenger, pastor, was Miss Judy Verhulst, as a
Christian Day School teacher of the American Lutheran Church.
Miss Verhulst is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Verhulst of Loyal. Judy
graduated from Loyal High School in 1970, and this past spring graduated from
Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa, where she received a B.A. degree. Upon
graduation, Judy was called to teach the second grade at Victory Christian
Lutheran School in Detroit, Michigan.
Miss Verhulst joins one parish worker who ahs been sent forth from Our Savior's,
and three sons of the congregation now serving congregations in the American
Lutheran Church.
