Prien, Peggy Jean (17 AUG 1974)
Miss Peggy Prien, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Prien, Colby (Clark Co.,
Wis.), formerly of Loyal, and Mr. Daniel Kraschnewski, Medford, were married
Saturday, August 17, 1974 in a candlelight ceremony at the Trinity Lutheran
Church, Loyal. The Rev. William Humlie officiated, and Mrs. Paulette Reckner,
Marshfield, was organist, and vocalists were Robert, Richard, and Ronald Radtke,
Medford.
The bride was seen in an ivory chiffon and lace gown with chapel train and
fingertip veil. Her flowers were a Colonial basket of roses, daisies, baby's
breath and ivy.
Mrs. Pamela Miller, Colby, was matron of honor, with Miss Bonnie Wehrman, Loyal,
and Miss Debbie Zastrow, Wausau as bridesmaids. They wore peasant styled gowns
of forest green floral print with ivory lace. They wore white and green tinted
daisies in their hair. They carried colonial baskets of green and white daisies
and ivy.
Mr. Pat Henrichs, Medford, was best man, and groomsmen were Norman Miller Jr.,
Colby, and Wayne Malchow, Medford.
Mr. Ray Weyer, Loyal and Doug Zastrow, Wausau, were ushers.
A reception and dinner were held at the Colby Hotel.
The newly married couple is resided in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
