Machler, Cherie Lynn (Chamberlin) (11 FEB 1927 - 16 NOV 2018)

Cherie Lynn Machler, age 56 of Boyd, WI, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 16, 2018 in Boyd, WI.

She was born on March 7, 1962 to Elmer and Grace Chamberlin in Minneapolis, MN. Her family moved to Boyd, WI in 1969 where she attended elementary school.

Cherie graduated as class Salutatorian from Stanley-Boyd High School in 1980. She went on to UW-Stout, graduating in 1984. Cherie married William Weimer on August 13, 1988 in Plymouth, MN. The two had three children, Erika, Monika and Markus.

A selfless and devoted mother, her beloved children brought her the greatest joy. Having lived briefly in Austria, Cherie loved traveling, reading and visiting museums.

She is survived by her children; her mother, Grace; her sister, Marcy; her brothers, Greg and Jeff; numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her father, Elmer.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, Stanley with Rev. Kenneth Schmidt officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday, at Plombon Funeral Home, Stanley from 9:00 AM until 10:45 AM.
