Miss Emogene Nelson of River Falls came on Sunday to visit her sister, Marcia Crothers and family. She left on Tuesday morning to go to Madison for a meeting.

Mr. and Mrs. Steve Nelson and Shelley were Monday evening dinner guests and enjoyed a visit with his aunts and the Crothers' home.

On Friday evening, August 16, Mr. and Mrs. Merle Bartsch entertained the factory foremen and their families at a picnic supper.

A miscellaneous shower was held at the York Town Hall on Saturday evening, August 24 for Bill Ganther and Linda Franke, who will be married on September 21.

Miss Margo Ganther has returned to Cambridge, Minnesota for another year of teaching in the school system there.

Rick Bartsch and Greg Gardner went to Madison last week to enroll at the University, where Rick is enrolled in pharmacy and Greg in horticulture.
