Fenner, Anita (15 JUL 1910 – 4 OCT 1974)
Mrs. Herbert (Anita) Fenner, 64, of 104 S. Gwinn Street, Loyal (Clark Co.,
Wis.), died at 11:45 a.m. Friday, October 4, 1974, at Memorial Hospital,
Neillsville.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday at the United Methodist Church,
Loyal, with the Rev. Eugene Carlson, pastor, officiating. Burial was made in the
Loyal Cemetery.
The hymns "I Know Not What the Future Brings," and "Children of the Heavenly
Father" were sung.
Pallbearers were Howard Sturtz, J.R. Thomas, C.F. Gotter, Wilbur Kehrberg, Lloyd
Hansen, and Jesse Raab.
The Rinka Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
The former Anita Davel was born July 15, 1910 in Loyal. She received her
education in the Loyal schools, graduating from Loyal High School. She lived her
entire life in Loyal, and was a member of the United Methodist Church, the Royal
Neighbors Club, and the Garden Club.
She was married on September 19, 1927 to Herbert Fenner, who survives her.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. John A.
(Gladys) Olson, Loyal, Mrs. Richard (Grace) Reineking, Tucson, and Mrs. Ralph
(Wilma) Sossaman, Abbotsford; one son, Eugene, Romulus, Michigan; ten
grandchildren, and one great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother and one half-brother.
