On June 16, a Korean Honor Stone placement ceremony took place at the Highground
Veterans Memorial Park near Neillsville. Friends and family came to honor Lannie
G. Voss of Abbotsford.
Voss was honored with a Korean Honor Stone by his sponsors, Eddie and Arla Voss,
family and friends. Eddie and Arla Mae Voss purchased the stone in memory of
Eddie’s brother.
Lannie served in the Army during the Korean War from 1953-1955. He became a
corporal and tank driver while in the service. He was an active member of the
Colby VFW until his health failed.
Those that attended the dedication were Eddie and Arla Mae Voss, Daren and Sara
Voss and Mason Voss and friends.
