Heisler, Janet Irene (Hoffmann) (29 AUG 1943 - 4 DEC 2018)
Janet Irene Heisler, 75, of Medford, passed away Tuesday December 4, 2018 at
Aspirus Rehab Care in Medford.
A memorial service for Janet will be take place at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church in
Stetsonville on Monday December 10, 2018 at 2:00 PM, with Reverend Richard
Russow officiating. Burial will follow at Zion Ev. Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation
will take place at Zion Lutheran Church on Monday, December 10th, 2018 from
12:00 PM until the time of service at 2:00 PM.
Janet was born on August 29, 1943 and was adopted by Adolf and Eleanora (Berner)
Hoffmann. On June 16, 1973, Janet married Clarence Heisler at Zion Ev. Lutheran
Church and was later divorced. Janet was a member of Zion Ev. Lutheran Church
and Immanuel Lutheran Church. Janet’s faith has always been an important aspect
in her life. Janet served in the choir, as a soloist, and sang in duets with her
daughter. Janet had a passion for music, she loved listening to Elvis,
specifically his gospels.
Janet adored her family, especially her grandchildren, Alexus and Michael, and
was an avid animal lover.
Janet is survived by her daughter, Rebecca (Jamie) Dohrwardt of Medford;
grandchildren Alexus (Dustin Kayhart) and Michael (Gabby Kummer) Dohrwardt of
Medford; brother Warren Hoffmann of Medford and several cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Memorial donations in Janet’s name may be given to the Sunday School Department
of Zion Lutheran Church.
Hemer Funeral Service of Medford and Rib Lake has been entrusted with
arrangements.
