Lincoln, Donnamae Alice (Hraban) (16 JUL 1938 - 24 NOV 2018)
Donnamae Alice Lincoln, 80, of Pewaukee, formerly a longtime resident of
Waukesha, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Nov. 24, 2018, with her loving
family by her side.
Donnamae was born on July 16, 1938, the daughter of Charles and Clara (Mechelke)
Hraban in Tony. She was a longtime devoted and faithful member of Ascension
Lutheran Church. She will be remembered for her sweet, thoughtful and gentle
nature.
There was a time that she enjoyed crocheting, sewing doll clothes for her
daughters’ Barbies, canning and playing cards and board games. She easily
transitioned to meet the sign of the times as Facebook became popular she stayed
in touch on Facebook and social media. Her easy going nature made her easy to be
around but she was most happy when she could spend time with her children and
especially the grand and great-grandchildren.
She enjoyed her longtime marriage of 40 years to her husband John until he
passed away in 2000.
Donna will be deeply missed by her daughters, Julie (Mark) Holat of Waupaca,
Sherry (Mike) Hoelzl of Dousman, Brenda (Danny) Hofstetter of Brookfield and
Tina (John) Falter of Hartland; her dear grandchildren, Cassie (Ben), Travis (Kirbi),
Michelle (Jesse), George (Amanda), Eric, Wendy (Ryder), Robbie (Kristen),
Kristy, Joey (Savanna), Tom (Shannon), Andy (Caitlyn) and Chris; loving
great-grandchildren, Mackenzi, Malachi, Otis, Cordell, Juliana, Baby Hoelzl,
Clara, Baby Fischer, Jax, Connor, Emilia, Dylan and Wyatt. She is the sister of
Phyllis (Warren) Paul of Oak Creek and Charles Hraban of Ladysmith. She is
further survived by other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John; her sisters, Lucille, Pearl,
Francis and Mildred and her brothers, Richard, Roger, Rudy and Walter.
The visitation for Donna was held on Monday, Dec. 3, at Ascension Lutheran
Church, Waukesha, with Rev. Chris Marien officiating. Memorials are appreciated
to AngelsGrace Hospice, Ascension Lutheran Church and the American Lung
Association.
The family would like to thank AngelsGrace Hospice and the staff for their
tender love and care of their mom.
