Mrs. Edith Backus and son James, and Mrs. Leslie Backus returned from a several
days visit with Mr. and Mrs. Bill Backus and family last week. Mr. Backus, son
of Edith Backus is stationed at an Army Air Base near Rantoul, Illinois.
Mr. and Mrs. John Govek and family of Sturgeon Bay were here for the wee with
his folks, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Govek.
Mr. and Mrs. John Scharenbrock attended a church dinner at Black River Falls on
Sunday.
